學名：Cerithidea rhizophorarum subsp. rhizophorarum A. Adams, 1854

分類：腹足綱 Gastropoda、中腹足目 Mesogastropoda、海蜷螺科 Potamididae、栓海蜷屬 Cerithidea

別名：紅樹擬蟹守螺、莫氏海蜷

殼呈細長錐形，殼頂常斷裂，螺層圓凸而且肥胖。殼外表褐色帶，摻雜白色帶及黑色帶，殼外表具明顯的粗螺肋，縱肋和螺肋形成規則的網狀彫刻。

殼口唇厚，圓形，外緣白色，內面深褐色。口蓋圓形，角質，褐色。

喜歡紅樹林沼澤的環境及潮間帶內灣泥灘。
